The community that is served by the Marietta Housing Authority consists of seven cities.  Those cities are Acworth, Austell, Kennesaw, Marietta, Powder Springs, Mableton and Smyrna.

Many community services are available in the area.  The following is a list of some of those agencies and services:

Cobb County Transit Authority (CCT)

CCT began service on July 10, 1989 with five local fixed routes.   Fixed route service is defined as service provided on a repetitive, fixed-schedule basis along a specific route with vehicles stopping to pick up and discharge passengers to specific locations.   Each fixed-route trip serves the same origins and destinations, unlike demand responsive service and taxicabs.   Seventeen 1989 Flxible buses were acquired to operate the service.

The Cobb County Transit Authority (CCT) provides point-to-point transportation throughout the Cobb County area.  The CCT also provides connections to other local and national public transportation authorities.  The CCT schedule and additional information can be located at http://www.cobbdot.org/cct.htm#route%20575
