The Public Housing Program allows the Marietta Housing Authority to offer affordable, decent, safe and sanitary housing to families who meet eligibility criteria.  Public Housing is available to those income eligible families who qualify for one, two, three, four or five bedroom units.  Income is based on thirty (30%) of the family’s monthly income.

 


Marietta Housing Authority owns and manages apartments located within a one to two mile radius of the historical downtown square of Marietta, Georgia.  To qualify for admission, a family must meet income limits as determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and meet citizenship / eligible immigrant criteria. Families must also meet the Marietta Housing Authority screening criteria in order to be admitted to public housing.

 




Currently our Public Housing Waiting List is closed. Future advertisement will be posted in the newspaper or on the website if the status of the waiting list should change.                                                                                                                                     Some MHA complexes are equipped with Handicap Accessible Apartments, Washer, Dryer, Cable connections, furnished utilities, and after hour emergency maintenance.  Elderly residents (62 or older) are exempt from utility charges.
